Richard Williams, a sharp-eyed Missouri reader, alerted us to a mistake in our May issue. On page 42, an item lists Wendy's, along with McDonald's, Burger King, Hardee's, Jack in the Box and Taco Bell, as fast-food retail chains using imported beef. Wendy's, however, does not use imported beef. In fact, the Wendy's Web site at www.wendys.com states: Our hamburgers are fresh from 100% pure domestic

Wendy's, however, does not use imported beef. In fact, the Wendy's Web site at www.wendys.com states: “Our hamburgers are fresh from 100% pure domestic beef (not frozen)…” Our apologies to Wendy's, a fine supporter of U.S. beef producers.
