Ariat International, the leader in innovative Western and English footwear, apparel and accessories, introduces a new line of men’s flame resistant apparel. This new collection includes long sleeve shirts, tees, fleece and denim.

Ariat’s FR apparel has revolutionized the work FR category by developing a line with a softer, lighter weight technical fabric styled with a modern fit, while meeting top NFPA safety standards.  The new FR denim combines the great fit and features of Ariat’s popular M-series denim with proven flame resistant technology, creating a new standard in FR denim. The FR shirts are constructed with the same technology and fit as the popular western performance shirts which includes Ariat’s Greater Arm Mobility—extended inseam underarm construction that delivers improved range of motion for active job environments. All the Ariat FR work clothing meets the HRC 2 flame resistance standard for protection against flash fire or electric arc flare ups on the job.

“There was a high demand in the FR apparel industry for clothing that was both functional and safe on the job as well as designed for comfort and style; Ariat met this need by introducing this unique line of FR apparel and denim.” says Megan Iwersen, vice president of apparel at Ariat International. “Oil, gas and petrochemical job sites are high pressure environments; Ariat wanted to provide these workers with clothing that meets all the safety requirements, but also provide them with clothes they can feel great in and look great wearing as well.”

Ariat FR apparel line will be available both online and in select retail stores starting in March 2014 with prices ranging from $69.95 to $129.95.
