Royal Warrant-holding members of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) are preparing to head to Buckingham Palace for the four-day Coronation Festival next month.
“This is a tremendous reflection of the high-calibre companies that we, as a trade association, represent,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “These members are widely recognized for the excellence in skills, service, products and manufacture they offer and we are extremely proud that they will be taking their place at this prestigious event alongside more than 200 Royal Warrant holders from across the UK.”
BETA members taking part in the event – from 11 to 14 July – to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation include Abbey England, Bedmax Shavings, Dengie Horse Feeds, Dodson & Horrell, Barbour, Martin Collins Enterprises, Shires Equestrian and Vale Bros.
Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition for individuals or companies who have supplied goods or services for at least five years to the households of the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh or the Prince of Wales. Warrants have always been regarded as hallmarks of quality, excellence and service.
The Coronation Festival, which is open to 60,000 members of the public, will be split into four specific areas: Design and Technology, Food and Drink, Style Pursuits and Pastimes, and Homes and Gardens. There will also be a section for the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST), the charitable arm of the Royal Warrant Holders Association, which helps financially disadvantaged, experienced craftspeople to further their skills through the funding of further education and training.
In the evening, a Coronation Gala will celebrate cultural life during the Queen’s reign with a focus on youth from home and across the Commonwealth.
