To kick off fall, BEEF launched the “Cattle & Colors” photo contest where we asked readers to submit their favorite images from the ranch during the autumn season. We received more than 90 entries for consideration, and the compiled collection features a beautiful assortment of images of kids, cattle, horses, scenic views and colorful landscapes.

View all of the reader submitted entries here.

From those entries, we narrowed it down to 15 finalists and asked our readers to help us select our winners.

We had an amazing voter turnout, and two photographers rose to the top of the “Cattle & Colors” contest.

Congratulations to our grand champion photographer, Amelia Fendley, with her entry titled, “One Last Check Before Nightfall.” She wins a $100 VISA gift card for her efforts.

Our reserve champion is Bill Long with his entry titled, “Munching On The Meadow Before The Frost.” Long will receive a $50 VISA gift card for his photograph entry.

In addition to our two champions, we also selected three voters to win western coffee table books as our way to say thank you for participating in this contest. Congratulations to our three lucky winners — Sarah Myers, Nick Carter and Tara Fountain.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this another fun contest! Wishing you a very happy, healthy, productive fall season!
