The countdown to Christmas continues, with the big event just 18 days away. Hopefully by now, you’ve lit the tree, set up the nativity, and done a little shopping for loved ones.
At BEEF, we’re celebrating the holiday season with a new photo contest. The theme is “Cowboy Christmas,” and we are seeking photographs that capture the spirit of this most wonderful time of year.
From lights on the front porch, to wreaths hanging on the barn door, to cattle eating hay on a frosty morning, to presents under the Christmas tree, to a snowy ride on the ranch horses — the sky is the limit and we welcome your creative entries.
To enter, please submit your photo, caption or title, name and mailing address to me at [email protected]. One entry per person, please. Helpful hint: if you have multiple images, you can submit them under family members’ names.
The deadline to enter is Wednesday, Dec. 16, and the finalists will be announced on Dec. 17. Voting will be open until Wednesday, Dec. 23, and our champions will be unveiled on Christmas Eve.
Two winners will receive a voucher for a custom Greeley Hat Works hat, valued at $300. Plus, three voters will be randomly selected to take home a western art print, courtesy of BEEF.
As always, we will update a gallery of reader photos, so check back often to view the images submitted. I’m looking forward to another great contest, and I can’t wait to see your entries.
