Leaders from many of the leading national agriculture organizations joined Bob Stallman of the American Farm Bureau Federation in Kansas City recently as the membership and mission of the new U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance were unveiled. Stallman has been elected chairman of the 24-member alliance, which has quickly gotten its footing from just one month ago.

“A historic meeting took place on Oct. 12 in St. Louis. Farmer and rancher organizations in attendance agreed there to form the U.S Farmers and Ranchers Alliance to develop and implement a well-funded, long-term, and coordinated public trust campaign for today’s American agriculture.”
