Who won the “Celebrate Spring” photo contest?

To kick off spring, BEEF launched a “Celebrate Spring” photo contest where we collected nearly 60 reader-submitted images of springtime on the ranch. From there, we narrowed down the photographs to 10 finalists, and we asked you to help us select the champions.

The voting period has officially closed, and we had an outstanding turnout of folks rallying for their favorite images. Now, at long last, it’s time to announce our winners.

Our grand champion photographer is Doug Hoort who won with a whopping 37% of the votes and will receive a $100 VISA gift card. Congratulations on your entry, "Cold & Wet Michigan Morning."

Reserve champion honors go to Tammy English with “Checking Cattle.” She will win a $50 VISA gift card.

The eight remaining finalists including Kellee Whitehurst, Alissa Sanderson, Lacee Sims, Lauren Neale, Blake Reynolds, Mitchell Schmidt, Amy Jo Beckstrand and Tonea Scarbrough will receive BEEF art prints as a congratulations for making it into the top 10 in this contest.

Plus, as promised, three randomly selected voters will also receive BEEF art prints. Congratulations to Kim Karnes, Michael Myers and Elsie McCoy.

We’ll get the 13 prizes shipped out this week. Congratulations to our winners and a big thank you to everyone for participating!
