The slaughter cow run continues with 9,100 head at test auctions this week. Prices were steady to $2 lower.

The feeder cattle auctions started to get a decent fall run again after Thanksgiving with 30,800 head at the test auctions. The prices climbed higher on calves with more weaned and thin calves, but were steady to $3 lower on the yearlings.

Slaughter cows continue their big fall runs with 9,100 head at the test auctions. Prices were steady to $2 lower compared to the week before Thanksgiving when there was a big push by the packers to get enough cows for the holiday week when most auctions were shut down.
