Feeder cattle stay home as prices find balance

There was a very small run of feeder cattle this week due to the big drop in prices last week, but the prices did start to improve some.

The slaughter cow numbers at the test auctions were about 500 head higher than last week at 4,700 head and the cow prices continued to slip lower even though the cow meat prices improved again this week.
