Prices uneven during larger fall run

More cows, more feeder cattle as the fall run continues.

Feeder cattle receipts at the test auctions totaled 47,500 head which is a normal larger fall run. Prices for the yearlings topped out and were mostly $1-2 lower, but the calf prices were uneven with some higher and some lower.

There also was another big run of cows at the 20 test auctions with 13,600 head. Prices firmed up a little last week on the back of the increasing cow cutout, which took a very big drop this week.
