Feeder cattle prices rebounded and were $13-24 higher, regaining more than what they lost last week, but not enough yet to make up for the last three weeks of losses. Feeder cattle numbers still very low with 9,000 head at the test auctions this week comparaed to last year's 36,000 head.
The slaughter cow prices jumped up $6-8 higher and cow numbers also increased with 6,000 head at the test auctions. Cow meat prices jumped quite a bit higher again this week.
