Like a lot of Americans, ranchers Bob and Nancy Montross of DeSmet, SD, spent the evening of Jan. 9 glued to the television set. But, unlike most, the national football championship game between Louisiana State University and Alabama wasn’t the highlight of the night. They were with a crowd of beef supporters at BraVo's Restaurant in Brookings, SD, celebrating Beef Bucks appearance on "Wheel of Fortune."

South Dakota Beef Ambassador Courtney Nolz says this of the event: "I thought Nancy and Bob Montross did a wonderful job hosting the event at BraVo's on behalf of the Beef Bucks board. There was a variety of people there from the agriculture industry all interested in one thing, beef! I thought Bob had a good thought of the night, "If you don't eat beef, we need to talk." After having a conversation with Bob, his passion for the industry no matter the breed was more than evident. The best part of the night was when the contestant landed on Beef Bucks on the wheel, and everyone in BraVo's was hooting and hollering for beef!
