Yamaha’s Rhino 700 FI Side-by-Side boasts a 686-cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve single overhead cam engine, and a smooth, reliable Ultramatic® automatic transmission for work or play. The assisted dump bed is rated to 400 lbs., and the standard 2-in. receiver can haul an additional 1,200 lbs. A fuel-injection system helps manage the Rhino’s power for top performance and dependability in any condition, especially at high elevation and in cooler conditions.
The Rhino features utilitarian functionality with 4x4 off-road capabilities. This includes On-Command® 2WD, 4WD and 4WD differential-lock, which provides push-button control for any terrain conditions; more than 12 in. of ground clearance; and hydraulic disc brakes with dual piston calipers on all four wheels for superior braking performance.
Other features are: a 12-volt accessory outlet; padded bucket seats; grab handles and cup holders; and rotomolded doors to keep mud, water and trail debris out of the cab. A digital LCD multi-function display meter features a speedometer, odometer, dual trip meter, clock, fuel gauge and gear position display, a voltage meter for monitoring battery condition, and an hour meter function that operates only when the engine is running. The 2013 Rhino 700 FI starts at $11,499 and comes in Hunter Green, Red and Realtree AP HD Camo, plus a Special Edition Tactical Black model.
