Lord I come to you tonight,

We were losing the battle, we put up a fight.

Our creeks were dry, our land was bare.

Our hay burned up, smoke filled the Air.

No grass to graze, no rain in sight.

The days heat lasted thru the night.

The Cowboy life ain't easy to live,

We gave it our all didn't have much to give.

We thank you for the soaking flood,

That ended the drought and made all that is yours Good.
