1. In a bipartisan vote, the House of Representatives passed the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement. The trade bill next heads to the Senate for a vote. – Farm Futures

2. Some farm groups and farm-state lawmakers took aim at the EPA, saying the final RFS rules released Thursday failed to uphold the president's promises to the industry. – The Washington Post

3. Mary Kay Thatcher, who advocated for American Farm Bureau for more than 30 years, says it's "unfathomable" that the Chinese will buy $50 billion worth of farm products as part of the phase-one trade deal. That's more than double the amount it bought before the trade war started. – CNN

5. The world's first floating farm is floating in the port of Rotterdam. The three-story platform is home to 35 cows, employing artificial intelligence to milk, feed and clean up after the cows. – Atlas obscura
