Stewardship of the land presents each rancher and farmer with different challenges and requires different approaches. But it always demands ingenuity and commitment. These seven operations will vie for the 2015 Environmental Stewardship Award, with the winner to be named next month at the 2015 National Cattle Industry Convention in San Antonio.
Established in 1991 by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and co-sponsored by Dow AgroSciences, the program provides an opportunity for the beef industry to acknowledge producers who go the extra mile when it comes to preserving and enhancing the resources on their land.
For more information or nomination forms for the National Environmental Stewardship Award, contact your state beef industry council, state cattlemen’s association or NCBA-affiliated breed association. Or visit environmentalstewardship.org.
