When Congress finally gets around to reevaluating the death tax, will they picture the likes of John D. Rockefeller, or will they also remember Clayton Leverett?

Leverett and his brother Will are the fifth generation to operate Stillwaters Ranch in Llano. The 2,500 acre working ranch sits on the same land their great-great-grandfather James Clayton Stribling, Sr., purchased more than 150 years ago, a portion of that land, that is.

In the face of estate taxes, Leverett's family has had to sell sections of their ranch in order to generate enough liquid assets to meet those obligations and stay afloat.
