"Mr. President, America needs jobs. The GIPSA rule would kill them." That's the message of the Iowa Cattlemen's Association, National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) and National Pork Producer's Council (NPPC) in a full-page advertisement appearing in the Dubuque Telegraph Herald.

The ad was timed for the visit of President Obama, who was joined by USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack, as he traveled to Peosta, in Dubuque County, IA, for a Rural Economic Forum at Northeast Iowa Community College.
