Tell EPA to #DitchTheRule

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers want to expand their federal authority over “waters of the U.S.” The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) reports that the agencies seek to redefine the definition of “waters of the United States” in a way that would require cattle ranchers to get federal permission anytime they needed to expand, maintain, or perform routine activities like driving a tractor through a pasture. Comments on the proposed rule are being accepted until July 21, 2014, and NCBA has made it easy to submit comments by clicking here, filling in your contact information and emailing your comments.
