He’s a man with a skill of his own, he makes cow whips in his

barn a little ways form his home

With each whip he makes there is a story to tell

Truth or not no one will tell

As he platts the whips then pulls them tight he often think of

days gone by

Days that were long, hard and rough

Where the men were strong and tough

He sells his whips to people of all kinds some are young some are

old some are for work and some are for show

But all are built the same this I know, they are made with pride

from zip to tip, all come with a personalized handle for a firm grip

I’m proud of this Man for he’s a Brother of mine, but most of all

he’s a True Friend I can call on anytime.
