If there’s one constant in the ever-changing and fluctuating stocker segment, it’s that each operation is unique. However, each stocker operation has the same end goal in mind—put low-cost pounds on calves and do it profitably. The National Stocker Award seeks to highlight those differences while focusing on the similarity—how to make a profit in a dynamic and changing market.
Now in its 11th year, the National Stocker Award, supported by BEEF and Zoetis, recognizes the top stocker operations in the country. Over those years, BEEF has recognized a mix of operations, from seasonal to year-round, from local to multi-state. The 11 winners hail from nine different states.
