Justin announces changing of guard in credit department

Justin Brands, Inc., a recognized leader in Western footwear, has announced the promotion of Lori Semmler to director of credit following David Dungan’s retirement.

Dungan is retiring from the company after 32 years of service. He began his career with Tony Lama in 1980 as a credit manager, and was promoted to the position of manager of customer relations and credit administration in 1985.  In 1994, Dungan was transferred to Footwear Management Company and moved to Fort Worth in 1995 as the director of credit. 

Semmler has been part of the Justin Brands credit team for more than 20 years, beginning as a credit clerk in 1989. She was promoted to the position of regional credit manager in 1990, again in 2006 to credit manager, then in 2008 to senior credit manager and finally in 2011 to national credit manager.
