Lucchese, Equibrand embrace WESA move to Dallas

Dallas Market Center, the leading marketplace for retailers from around the world, has announced that Equibrand Products Group will open a new corporate showroom and that Lucchese will open an expanded showroom inside its growing western neighborhood.

Lucchese is an iconic company in western lifestyle products including boots, fashion accessories and apparel. The Lucchese Dallas showroom, nearly 50% larger than its previous space, will feature its full range of products, including apparel. Equibrand Products Group is a leading company in the performance horse industry, with a rich history of innovation and embracing technological advancements. Its new showroom is the company’s first permanent corporate showroom in the U.S. and will feature its full range of innovative western tack.

“Few companies have the reputation for quality like Lucchese and Equibrand. We are honored that these companies are investing in Dallas Market Center,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Their commitment is consistent with a reputation of being progressive and forward thinking. Lucchese will be able to showcase their full collection and to serve customers year-round, and Equibrand delivers the vital tack product segment to our western marketplace.”

“This is a unique opportunity to showcase our product and to reach more potential customers,” said Doug Kindy, president of Lucchese.  “Our decision to expand our existing space was specifically motivated by our commitment to WESA’s impending move to Dallas. We are looking forward to serving a wide range of customers with the full array of Lucchese products.”

“This will be our first permanent showroom experience having always exhibited in temporary space in the past,” said Ken Bray, CEO of Equibrand Products Group. “In addition to the two annual WESA markets each year, we will use this showcase to host key accounts as well as conduct sales training and support of our rep organization throughout the year. We see this as an excellent return on our marketing and sales investments."

Dallas Market Center is the largest marketplace in the world for western lifestyle products including apparel and accessories, gifts, and home décor. In addition to these core categories, new product resources including tack, farm and ranch products and equipment, workwear and safety wear, camping, and outdoor categories are being added to the marketplace and will create a comprehensive product destination.

The Dallas Market Center will undergo significant updates prior to the launch of WESA’s International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Markets in 2021. The combined experience of Dallas Market Center and WESA is more than 160 years of bringing buyers and sellers together.

The bi-annual WESA shows will attract thousands of retail decision makers to Dallas including major stores, independent western retailers, apparel stores, gift shops, e-commerce and other buyers seeking new products. A change of venue for the WESA shows will cause more buyers to explore new resources across the product spectrum and will create more opportunities for business growth. For exhibitors, the move creates better options for opening new accounts.

The addition of this trade event extends Dallas Market Center’s position as the most complete wholesale marketplace in North America for lifestyle products. Centrally located within a short travel time from any location in the U.S. and Latin America, the marketplace is also situated in the strongest economic zone in the U.S. and serves five of the 10 fastest growing U.S. cities in its immediate region.

Dallas Market Center is a global business-to-business trade center and the leading wholesale marketplace in North America connecting retailers and interior designers with top manufacturers in home décor, furniture, gifts, lighting and fashion. Inside its dynamic, five million square foot campus near downtown Dallas, nearly 200,000 customers from all 50 states and 85 countries seek industry trends, business education and new products via open-daily showrooms and from exhibitors participating in trade events held throughout the year.
