New show shirt aims for maximum comfort

In an answer to rider demands, FITS, a leading manufacturer of athletic equestrian apparel, will begin shipping mid-January its new Anna Silk- Touch Show Shirt. At the core of the shirt is a feather weight and wicking treated blend of 86 tactel nylon and 14% Lycra with unsurpassed cooling characteristics. The Lycra enables the shirt to maintain a flattering look while stretching with the rider's every move. FITS, often seen as innovators in equestrian wear, then substituted lightweight, airy Powermesh to the sleeves and back yoke, making the Anna even more breathable. The two fabrics complement one another resulting in a functional and stylish look. FITS CEO and lead designer, Sheryl Rudolph, stated:

"While the primary goal was comfort and reduction of bulk under a show coat, we knew Anna would need to look good. We included a detailed ribbon accent on the underplacket and cut the shirt for a tailored fit."

UV protection is infused into the fabric. There is a wrap collar with a stock tie loop on the back. FITS promises that this is the softest, lightest shirt available, two critical elements in riders' quest for maximum comfort in a show shirt. Likewise FITS believes the Anna Show Shirt offers equestrians the utmost in cooling. "Kind of like built in air conditioning," Rudolph said.

Anna, which retails for $144, is available in white in sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL and may be purchased at nearly 200 fine stores worldwide.
