One of the best parts about blogging for BEEF is having the opportunity to host photography contests throughout the year. It’s a great way to get to know our readers.

Your images show us a glimpse of your lives in the cattle business. It’s fun to see regional production differences and a variety of cattle breeds through your photographs. It’s even more enjoyable to see ranching families working together and making memories in these images.

Our latest photography contest is titled, “Next Generation Females.” Sponsored by our friends at Boehringer Ingelheim, the theme was designed to highlight the outstanding heifers and cows on your ranches. Looking through the beautiful collection of reader-submitted images, which included stunning photographs of brood cows, baby calves, cowgirls and replacement heifers, we narrowed down the entries to 15 finalists.

While all the images were fantastic, we felt these finalists truly captured the theme of this contest. Congratulations to our top 15:

These 15 photographers are now in the running to receive one of four $50 VISA gift cards and we need your help selecting our champions! Voting is now open, and new this time around, you can select four favorites to win! Plus, you can vote every day until the contest is over on March 11.
