Vaccination Considerations and Practices for the Pre-Weaned Calf are important to protect the health of young calves and prepare them for disease challenges they may face later in life. In this session of Science Talks, Dr. Ben Abbey from Beaverhead Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Dan Goehl from Canton Veterinary Clinic, LLC, discuss strategies for developing an effective vaccination program for the pre-weaned calf. Viewers will gain insights into how vaccination of the pre-weaned calf helps maintain overall herd health and what to consider when developing an effective pre-weaned calf vaccination program.
