Part 1

Max Armstrong starts off from Commodity Classic in New Orleans talking with American Farm Bureaus’ Zippy Duval about energy. Mike interviews Dan Hueber of The Hueber Report, to discuss what this week’s USDA WASDE report and a look to the March 31 report on planting intentions.

Part 2

Dan Hueber of The Hueber Report rejoins Mike to talk about the global corn crop. Next up they talk wheat and cattle. In the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad Colby looks at the latest in drone technology.

Part 3

Max is talking transportation and infrastructure with Mike Steenhoek of the Soy Transportation Coalition.

Part 4

Max talks next with Brad Doyle of the American Soybean Association about the challenging input environment. Chris Edgington of the National Corn Growers Association about the energy market.  Next, ASA’s Steve Censky and Ohio corn grower John Linder tell Max about the need for growers to be a part of advocacy groups. Tom Haag, a corn grower from Minnesota, talks about the business impacts of the Ukraine conflict. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje joins the show the weekly weather forecast.

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a yellow International #71 baler from California. It will be at the California Antique Equipment Show. In the FFA Chapter Tribute Mike Pearson chats with Jonathan Pinkston, president of the Kentucky State FFA. Looking back on his term, he’s most loved getting to meet people.

Part 7

Max wraps up with a corn planting video from Texas, where plant 22 is under way.
